ABOUT
Kevin Kaminski is an accomplished and highly sought after landscape, adventure, and architecture photographer based out of Phoenix, Arizona. His interest in photography sparked when he was given his mother’s 1979 Minolta camera and he began to experiment with it as a young teen. He went on to study traditional film photography with inspiration from photography greats such as Ansel Adams, Edward Weston, others. At Northern Illinois University, he received his Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts with an emphasis on Photography. He was one of the first students in his college degree program to transition from classic darkroom to digital film processing. It’s clear to anyone who meets Kevin that his gift and true calling in life is the world of photography and its endless creative possibilities.
His passion for adventure and exploring the great outdoors resonates in his extensive portfolio from all parts of the globe. He is at his happiest outside exploring remote and uncharted landscapes, forever in search of what’s next around the bend. His distinct photographic style ignites a sense of wonder in those around him by capturing unique perspectives of our natural world. By adding human presence, his work portrays a sense of scale and simultaneously encourages onlookers to explore for themselves. His photography has been featured within the pages and on multiple magazine covers including Backpacker Magazine and Phoenix Magazine.
